Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cybercel ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit avatar.cybercel.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this site only.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

  • Order information. When you check out, you're taken to Shopify's hosted checkout to enter your name, shipping address, and payment details. We receive your order and shipping details from Shopify so we can fulfill your bundle, but we don't process or store your payment card information ourselves.
  • Location, for eligibility checks only. Some pre-order windows are restricted to guests near a specific event venue. If you attempt checkout during one of those windows, we first check the approximate, city-level location tied to your IP address to rule out visitors who are clearly too far away. If that check doesn't rule you out, your browser will ask permission to share your device's precise location. That precise location is calculated entirely on your own device to determine your distance from the venue. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.
  • Browser and usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit, to help us keep the site secure and understand how it's used.
  • Information you send us directly. If you email us for support, we keep that correspondence, including whatever contact details and order information you choose to share with us, so we can help you.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, fulfill, and ship your order
  • To verify eligibility for location-restricted pre-order windows
  • To respond to support requests and order issues
  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates
  • To keep the Service secure and to fix bugs
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations

We don't use your information to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell your personal information.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business:

  • Shopify, to process payments and handle checkout. Shopify has its own privacy policy governing the data it collects at checkout.
  • VeVe, if and when you choose to redeem a digital twin code. Redemption happens on VeVe's platform, under VeVe's own privacy terms. We don't send VeVe any information about you unless you redeem a code there yourself.
  • CGC, for the grading and authentication of physical cards and slabs included in your bundle.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
  • Our hosting and analytics providers, to keep the site running and secure.

We may also share information if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cybercel, our customers, or others.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, such as remembering the contents of your shopping cart while you browse. We don't currently use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle any related support requests, and satisfy our accounting and legal obligations. Support emails are kept for as long as reasonably useful for future reference.

6. Your Privacy Rights

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, to request that we delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As noted above, we don't sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@cybercel.comand we'll verify your request and respond within the time frame the law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Wherever you live, you can always ask us what information we have about you or request that we delete it by emailing the same address.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, and we rely on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure for payment data. No method of storing or transmitting data online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
